It can be used to illuminate test objects, slits and frame fields of streak cameras in continuous and pulsed modes of operation. It can be used to measure temporal characteristics of photoelectric receivers and devices.

Main components:

The generator consists of two parts: control unit and emitter. The emitting element is a laser diode.

Principle of operation:

Control unit provides a constant or pulsed current through a laser diode located in the emitter at the end of the tube attached to a stand with adjustable height. Tube contains lens with an aperture of 18 mm. Distance between lens and laser diode can be adjusted steplessly. Beam can be tuned to divergent, quasi-parallel, or convergent.
